Studies and professional training

Translation and interpreting

I graduated in 2020 with an English language, literature and culture licence from the University of Nantes (France), with a year spent in Limerick (Ireland) as part of the Erasmus programme. I then studied translation at University College Cork (Ireland), a master’s programme which is part of the European Master’s in Translation network, and graduated in 2021. If you’d like to know more about translation theories and some thoughts on this practice (this art we could even say), have a look at this page.

Subtitling for the deaf and hard-of-hearing

I received SDH training at Blue Elements when starting to work for them as a subtitler, with strict norms and rules for each TV channel. After almost 2 years of standard SDH and live SDH, I have extensive experience in preparing and reviewing subtitles for various types of programmes, including news broadcasts, TV series, films, TV games shows and others.

SEO counseling and translation

I followed an SEO training by Willy Paul to optimise the original and localised version of a website, including key-word search, SERP volume and competition, meta description optimisation and others.
